How can you store jewelry in self-storage so that it won’t tarnish? Keep your jewelry dry and separate from other jewelry. Do not store in a humid room because moisture is what tarnishes jewelry faster. Do not store jewelry out in the open and keep in a jewelry box.

How can you store patio furniture for the season?

Any seasonal items such as furniture, holiday, etc., you want to keep those items closer to the front of your unit and the things you rarely use to the back. If you will be storing a lot of seasonal items, it’s also great to rent a 2nd unit for personal/household or an extra-large unit to keep the items divided. Do not store heavy items for long periods of time on tops of tables, the legs can become weak over time.
